Reviews
Payiz Mediterranean Restaurant Cafe & Bar is a real gem! From the moment we stepped inside, the friendly staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The environment was lovely and inviting, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying a meal. And the food? Absolutely delicious! We were so impressed with the quality and the fact that it was served quickly was a real bonus. The presentation of every dish was fantastic, showing a real attention to detail. We also indulged in their Turkish coffee, which was not only really good but also a steal at just £2.50! The location is super convenient too, being very close to the Lewisham Overground station and the DLR. Plus, the added bonus of nearby street free parking on Sundays makes it even more appealing. Our only slight niggle was the pricing of the beer. We opted for two half pints at £5 each, totaling £10, when a full pint was priced at £7. It felt a little counterintuitive that two halves cost more than a whole pint. Ideally, they should have charged us the price of a full pint (£7) for the same volume. Despite this minor point, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Payiz. The delicious food, friendly service, and pleasant ambiance definitely make it a place we'd happily visit again. Just maybe stick to the Turkish coffee next time!
What a gem! This place totally stole my heart. The food was insanely tasty – I’m still dreaming about it! Everything was super clean, and the whole place had such a cozy, cheerful vibe. It felt like being at a friend’s house (if your friend was a top chef!). The staff were all smiles, and I left with a happy belly and a big smile on my face. 100% coming back!

Went for my birthday and my family ordered chicken wings with chips, lamb ribs with rice, and two mix. The food was nice, however, the price is a bit to much expensive for a little bit of food. For whatever reason the wipes were given before the food came and when we used it, it was cold. They could’ve given it after? Go here if you are in desperate need of food and if you live near the railway.
What a lovely place, very clean, me & my friend had the lunch menu 2 courses for £12.95 the food was very nice, fresh, good size portion and presented very well. We also had some mocktails the watermelon one was exceptional so refreshing highly recommend. Staff were great, friendly and went above & beyond. 10/10⭐
